Agrippa My Heart is part of the Destination Daddies Season Two multi-author series. It features a Daddy who learns that sometimes even his deepest desires are still awaiting exploration and a little who needs permission to let go. Each book can be read as a standalone, but there are so many destinations and Daddies to discover, why not grab them all?
~ * ~ Jo‘s Review ~ * ~
This is part of the Destination Daddies series, and I should mention that there are elements where “Little” Patrick sometimes becomes Patty. This is not my favourite trope within Daddy/Boy, but I have to say that it was well done; it is only a small part of the relationship and is very much about allowing Patrick to escape from the stress of the outside world.
Patrick has had a bad experience on the Cuff’d app, so he is reluctant to trust anyone new. Akker is looking for someone to look after; his life working for his father’s hotel chain has meant he’s been abroad a lot, currently in Italy, so he hasn’t found it easy to start a relationship. Having seen Patrick on a brief trip to the U.K., he approaches him through the app, and they tentatively start to connect. The connection is clear, but he takes it slowly, knowing Patrick has fears. They both want to meet, so Akker manipulates the competition to bring Patrick to the hotel. They soon realise they are perfect together, but there is one obvious issue – they live in different countries.
There is nothing sweeter than a Daddy looking after his Boy, and Akker does it beautifully. It’s about taking all the stress out of Patrick’s life and meeting all his needs, including making sure Patrick believes in himself. Sometimes that means he must be tough, but it’s always with love. They are seriously hot together, but there’s a connection and emotion between them that makes the story so much more satisfying. A little tension is caused by the reappearance of Patrick’s abusive Daddy, but as it should be, Akker steps up and protects his Boy.
Lovers of this trope will really enjoy this sweet, sexy story about a really protective, loving Daddy and a seriously cute Boy—a great addition to this series.
