M/M Romance

Release Date: 05.19.21

Magnetic as the Sun

Jimmy Alsop, a vivacious journalist, longs to trade his sheltered life for a summer of adventure but lacks the confidence to launch his stellar plan.

Lonely as the Moon

Nova Skye, an aloof scientist, wants to resuscitate his dead love life but hasn’t found the right man to kickstart his guarded heart.

Eclipse of the Heart

Sparks fly when a chance encounter drops Jimmy and Nova into the same orbit. Though their approach to life and love couldn’t be more different, they’re inexplicably drawn together as if connected by an invisible string. With nothing to lose but their inhibitions, Jimmy and Nova embark on an epic adventure of discovery. Passions soar with the sultry Savannah temperatures, and soon, their carefree summer becomes something more profound and beautiful than either man bargained for.

But are the ties that bind sturdy enough to withstand a lifetime, or will they fray after a season?

Universal Link:

“I’ve never in my life had a penchant for a Daddy lifestyle, but I’m sorely tempted to bend you over my knee and spank your ass,” Nova growled.

“Or you could just bend me over.”

Nova pointed down the trail. “It’s time to go.”

Instead of baiting him more, Jimmy pushed off and headed in the direction of the parking lot. Nova rode up alongside him a moment later. The energy radiating off him wasn’t anger; it was something much more potent and desirable. They rode in silence back to Jimmy’s car and didn’t speak again until after they’d loaded the bikes and driven away.

“Where to?” Jimmy asked.

Nova rattled off the name of an ice cream parlor near his house. “The hero deserves an ice cream cone.”

“I can think of a better reward,” Jimmy said.

Nova smirked. “In due time.”

If you are in the mood for a perfect romance laced with humor, please look no further. Ms. Walker has gifted you the perfect book!  The story matches two men that both need to live life more fully. They both have a nativity about them that  I found not only endearing but refreshing.
I love the concept of a novice in romance seeking out someone more experienced. At first, I felt Nova, a renowned astronomer, was aloof and cold. It turns out he was anything but that! Being the son of a famous astrologist, he is remarkably different from his mother. The further you read this story, you will see the two have more in common than you would suspect. As a matter of fact, the longer I got to know the crusty, yet gorgeous Nova, the more I realized he had a really sheltered love life. There are reasons for this and I don’t want to give too much away. Nova truly did grow on me, and I loved how being the instructor on a first-time romantic encounter started to shatter his huge walls.
Jimmy is too freaking adorable. Don’t get me wrong, there is more to him than meets the eye. He may be inexperienced but he is far from angelic. Getting out from under his mother and grandmother’s suppressive thumbs, he created an adventure wish list for the summer. The reporter had some embarrassingly intimate firsts that he never intended anyone to see. The list starts a very interesting sequence of events.
This book was a true gem. Every character in the story had me wrapped around their little finger, especially Millie June, Nova’s precious daughter. Some of the more adorable and memorable scenes feature the fierce little minx that brings sunshine into everyone’s life.
The relationship between Nova and Jimmy felt believable and strong. It was not insta-love as both men worked at establishing a true connection. I was so pleased there was no added artificial angst, just the growing pains of a new relationship.
So please do yourself a giant favor and read this special romance that I know, I will definitely re-read. Happy reading!

Sometimes there is a character in a book series that you wonder what happened to them. This is the case for me with Jimmy from The Sinister in Savannah series. You don’t need to have read that series (though you should, they are great). This has no mystery like that series, though, it is purely about falling in love.
If you are looking for something angst-free that will leave you with a warm, happy feeling—this is the book for you. Sometimes you just want to fall into a book that takes you away from the world; that gives you sweet characters that are funny and endearing and lets you follow their HEA journey. This is one of those books. Just as the characters are drawn together, you will be drawn into this story. Nova is an older scientist, Jimmy a young, just starting out reporter. He has so many things on his bucket list and maybe Nova is the guy to help him explore them.
These two are sweet and funny together and add in a precocious daughter and you’ve got the recipe for success. Loved this story; an absolute gem of a book. A perfect romance.

I was so excited to see Invisible Strings as a standalone that takes one of my favorite secondary characters from the Sinister in Savannah series for his journey to a happily-ever-after. This is such a unique story in a number of ways and I really liked how smooth and positive it is, it’s definitely a mood-lifter.

Jimmy and Nova meet under cute and interesting circumstances. I loved how an instant bond is established without it feeling forced or trivial. I also liked how their circumstances lead to more time together where the relationship and connection are allowed space and time to develop. Nova and Jimmy have great chemistry and such a lovely, sweet relationship, I couldn’t help but root for them.

Sometimes you just want something easy. While Invisible Strings isn’t one of those addictive stories I can’t step away from (like some of this author’s romantic suspense books), it is chock full of great characters, a sweet explorative romance, bright dialogue, supportive family and friends, and an adorable young child. If you are looking for a contemporary without a heap of baggage to cloud a relationship, Invisible Strings is definitely worth checking out.

I always enjoy a new book by Aimee Nicole Walker, as I know it’s going to be a win from the start! Imagine my surprise when this story goes beyond a win! Hands down, this is by far the best book I’ve read all year!

Jimmy is a journalist who’s led a very sheltered life. At the urging of his coworker, Felix, he makes a list of things he wants to do this summer, number one being finally losing his virginity! Nova is a “science geek” astronomer who is going for tenure at the university, all while overseeing a project with NASA.

From the moment these two lay eyes on each other, they are pulled toward each other by an invisible force. Add in a smart and talkative little six-year-old and parents and grandparents that just want happiness for their kids, and this book is the best! Not to mention very very hot! Do not miss out on this one, you won’t regret it!

Ever since she was a little girl, Aimee Nicole Walker entertained herself with stories that popped into her head. Now she gets paid to tell those stories to other people. She wears many titles—wife, mom, and animal lover are just a few of them. Her absolute favorite title is champion of the happily ever after. Love inspires everything she does, music keeps her sane, and coffee is the magic elixir that fuels her day. I’d love to hear from you.
