From USA Today Bestselling Author K Webster comes a steamy age-gap MM office romance standalone novella!

My new boss is cold, aloof, uncaring…
Twice my age and incredibly hot.
I know better than to crush over the older, untouchable man.
I’m here to do a job and prove I can do it well.

What I don’t expect is for the bossy Mr. Frosty to thaw in my presence.
His chilly demeanor grows hot the moment we’re alone and all I can do is melt for him.

He’s supposed to be straight, yet with me, he bends his own rigid rules.

I want to follow my heart, but my dreams might be at stake.
Do I choose a budding, forbidden romance or go back to my safe, bland reality?

One look at his rare, beautiful smile, though, and I realize I never had a choice.

***This is a short, steamy, instalove office romance with a happy for now.***

4 Stars!

This short story ties in with K Webster’s Sheriff’s Secret (book 1 in the Brigs Ferry Bay series), a fact I didn’t really notice until Adrian mentioned his friend Dante, so be aware in case you’ve read SS before.

Okay, so here’s the thing, while I loved Rylan, I felt he was too young for all his accomplishments. It felt weird that an 18yo would be so good at everything, but hey that’s just me, maybe you’ll feel differently. He was still nice and sassy and fun and just perfect to shake Adrian’s life around. I felt like Adrian was demisexual or gray for some things he said, and I loved that he was, that he’d never felt a connection like he did when he met Rylan. He made honor to the nickname Ry gave him, Bossy Mr. Frosty until he all but melted when he just couldn’t stop himself from getting closer to Rylan. They had great chemistry and I liked them together, but I just found it hard to move past Rylan being so young.

Anyway, I enjoyed the book, it was fun, sweet, and hot, a great way to while away a couple of hours.

I’m not sure how I forgot these characters tie into the Brigs Ferry Bay series until Adrian mentions Dante living in the town.
Adrian sure lives up to his reputation and the nickname Rylan gives him on his first day at work. He is quite the ice man…until he isn’t. He goes from frosty to a little bit cheesy, to be honest. Age gap doesn’t bother me, but there were times I forgot about the age difference because of some of the things Adrian would say. It’s like I couldn’t get a good gauge on his actual age because of it. Their relationship was definitely instantaneous, but I didn’t mind that either; especially in a book this size.
This was a sweet, fluffy office romance. Rylan’s energy had me grinning. I liked his character the best, but Adrian wasn’t too far behind. You could tell he was sincere in his surprising and unexpected feelings towards Rylan. Overall, this was an easy read and left me grinning. You can’t ask much more than that from a short book.
