Laundry Librarian – “Have you ever been touched by a story so deeply, the feelings it draws out of you linger for weeks, months or even years after finishing it? Learning Curve was that kind of book for me.”
The Little Bookworm – “I love a great forbidden romance and Learning Curve is definitely now on the top of that list for me.”
A Book Lover’s Emporium Book Blog – “Forbidden? Teacher/student? M/M? Oh HELL YEAH! This book has all my favourite things!”
Poor Ben! This was definitely not a very lighthearted story, but it did have some sweet and sexy moments that I appreciated. We get the teacher/student trope that is always a bit more interesting because of the forbidden aspect of it. Even though I liked it, the power dynamic and difference was tough to swallow sometimes because of how insecure Ben was and how Alister’s ego was through the roof.
I felt bad for Ben because of his life growing up and while his insecurities were understandable in some cases, I wanted to shake him a few times when he would verbally lash out and talk so bad about himself. While Alister had a big head in some instances, he treated Ben well and I was happy that Ben finally had someone to really love him unconditionally. I was happy with how the story ended and how Ben and Alister got their HEA.

From Dyslexic kid with a love of Algebra to a published author, no one is more surprised to find me here, than I am. I love to write about tortured pasts and hot sex, a happily ever after that has to be worked for. My stories tend to be a little dark but with some comic relief, typically in the form of sarcasm.
